RSC Swimmers Selected For The 2024 Swim England Hertfordshire County Development Camp
Congratulations to Lucas, Megan, Myla and Jasmina!
The selection criteria is by age and based on their performance and rankings in the 200 IM in August 2023 as well as through nominations from their clubs for their hard work, dedication and ability. This camp is the first step in the Swim England Talent Pathway and it is a big achievement to be invited. Congratulations!
Royston Swimming Club Shines Bright at 2024 Hertfordshire County Champs!
We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our talented athletes Counties 2024 held across 3 weekends in January & February.
Leading the charge were Megan and Lily, members of the Junior Performance Team at RSC, who soared to victory both securing a Bronze medal at County Champions in their respective events. Megan showcased her prowess in the grueling 400IM, securing Bronze in the Female 13 years category, while Lily demonstrated her speed and agility in the 50 backstroke, and 100 backstroke earning a well-deserved bronze medal in both in the Female 12 years category.
But the triumphs didn't end there. Our swimmers demonstrated their prowess across all age groups, with impressive performances that saw them completing epic swims and a few making multiple ‘Finals’ reserved for the fastest 8 swimmers in each age group on the night. Their dedication, skill, and unwavering determination were evident throughout the fast-paced competition, highlighting the depth of talent within the RSC ranks.
As a club dedicated to nurturing technically proficient swimmers and fostering a culture of excellence, we take great pride in the achievements of our members. The success at the Hertfordshire Counties is a testament to the hard work and commitment of both the swimmers and the coaching staff.
Congratulations to Megan, Lily, and all the RSC swimmers who showcased their talent and represented the club with pride at the Hertfordshire gala. Your achievements inspire us all and serve as a reminder of the bright future ahead for Royston Swimming Club.
