Job Vacancies
Join us!
This is an exciting time to join our team, we’ve had a large number of new younger swimmers poised ready for development and a number of older swimmers who need guidance and support to fulfil their potential. You will be able to develop the club’s prospects and build on your own coaching experience.
We are seeking dynamic, passionate, and forward-looking coaches to join the club and work alongside our current enthusiastic, dedicated coaching team.
We offer a unique opportunity to join and help shape our club and continue the journey towards becoming a leading development swimming club in North Hertfordshire.
Royston Swimming Club is a competitive club with swimmers competing mostly at County Development, County and Regional level, with some swimmers linking with City of Cambridge for Regional and National progression. We pride ourselves on having a friendly, family environment with a number of younger swimmers who have recently completed the learn to swim program and transitioned into the competitive squad.
We have a group of keen Open Water swimmers following our Open Water programme and a Masters squad who are keen to become competitive. Both these groups have seen growth this year and are ready for the next step in their development.
We are a SwimMark accredited club and have an annual plan in place to develop our swimmers. There is a passionate committee to support the coaching team and an active fundraising group with high ambitions for the 2024/2025 season. There is an unlimited potential for club growth, with partial access to a standard 25m pool on training evenings currently, and potential to consider use of a further local pool if coaching capacity allows.
For all roles, please apply by email to chair@roystonswimmingclub.co.uk enclosing both a CV and short cover letter, stating which role you are applying for.
